Diving Deeper:

The Trump campaign has taken a bold step by creating a policy website for Vice President Kamala Harris, who has not yet released her own platform for the 2024 presidential race. The website, kamala2024policies.com, went live on Wednesday, coinciding with the third day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, where Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, are rallying supporters.

The Trump campaign is highlighting what it claims are Harris' policy positions, focusing on contentious issues like immigration, the economy, and criminal justice. The site declares that "Kamala Harris' dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about," listing nine policy platforms it attributes to Harris, including accusations that she wants to "abolish the border," "eliminate private health insurance," and provide Social Security and Medicare to illegal immigrants.

A national press secretary for the Trump campaign told Fox News Digital, "Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals."

The Trump campaign’s website accuses Harris of being the deciding vote for far-left spending bills, contributing to spiraling inflation and high taxes. The site criticizes Harris for supporting the $1.9 trillion stimulus package and the Inflation Reduction Act, arguing that these policies have hurt middle-class Americans by increasing their tax burdens and causing inflation.

The website's launch comes as Harris continues to avoid releasing detailed policy proposals on her official campaign site, which currently features biographies and fundraising options. Despite proposing several economic policies recently, including federal price controls and raising the corporate tax rate, the Harris campaign has yet to outline these plans online.
