While exploring the manor, you're likely to come across the Bedroom, which happens to have a rather curious-looking object. There's a large statue of a hand that's pointing directly down to the floor. This will remain a mystery for a while, until you discover that it yields the Baron Bafflers secret. For this particular task, you need a Treasure Map, a Shovel, and a bit of luck when drafting rooms.

The Baron Bafflers Treasure Map

Normally, the Treasure Maps you find in the game lead you to various rooms, seemingly at random. All you need to do is go to the room on the manor grid marked with an X. Then, once you dig up the spot, you'll receive Mount Holly's Coffers, chests that contain an assortment of gems or gold.
The goal of the Blue Prince Baron Bafflers secret is to ensure that the Bedroom is drafted in the spot marked with an "X" on the Treasure Map:
In one of our runs, we picked up a Treasure Map, though we haven't drafted the room in that particular spot of the manor grid.
When we were about to approach that room, we used various reroll/redraw methods until we were able to draft the Bedroom.
Then, we walked right in front of the statue of the hand that's pointing down. That's when we received a prompt to dig with our Shovel.
We then received the Baron Bafflers cipher as a reward.
Note: It might be possible to stumble upon this assuming you drafted Bedroom and you obtained a Treasure Map that happens to lead to it. It our case, we just settled on using our rerolls to draft the Bedroom in the correct spot.

Baron Bafflers clues and cipher

The Blue Prince Baron Bafflers cipher is fairly odd due to its requirements. Similar to a crossword puzzle, you're given the vague descriptions of six words that you need to guess. But there are also several conditions:
Each word has a smaller word consisting of three letters.
Each clue is a hint for both the main/longer word and the shorter word.
The letters of the shorter word are included in the main word below it.
Last but not least, each first letter of the smaller words can be combined to form another word. It's considered the solution to the puzzle.

Word #5: N O T [ I C E ] = A notice tells you if classes are suspended, which can be due to inclement weather such as snow and ice.
Word #6: I N [ S E C T ] = Insects form a group in the animal kingdom, while a sect is a group of people.
Lastly, if you look at the first letter of the shorter words, you'll notice that they form the word: MANTIS. A mantis is also a type of insect, which makes it related to the sixth entry.
